New York Fashion Week officially kicked off on Thursday, causing some rancor, since it was also the first night of Rosh Hashannah. The fashion calendar definitely needs an overall. High religious holidays should be held sacred, IMO...I highly doubt the Italians would ever be showing in Milan on Easter Sunday...

Half the fun of attending the shows is seeing the Street Style. The woman above looks incredibly stylish and my guess is that the whole ensemble weighed in at about $100.
To me, this proofs that style true style, can neither be bought nor taught...It's an innate talent, born from the soul.
